Unbelievably great.Feb 22, 2012
By Marcello B I have used several different fleur de sels and hands down this is the best one. Goes great with everything. I highly recommend this brand.

Terrific salt at a great priceJan 30, 2012
By Patrick M. Mcmullen This is truly outstanding salt, and the price is much more reasonable than most "fancy" sea salts. That said, any sea salt from the Guerande region of France will probably be very good, although I've seen others at much higher prices.

Most greatest French Chefs have been using this "Fleur de sel finishing salt" on their creations including on chocolate desserts. Sprinkle it on the dish just before serving. Enjoy!

You think all salts are the same? Well, most commercial salts can be 99+% NaCl so I guess they pretty much should taste the same, but what are you missing? Sometimes you want something more than just "Make food X taste like salt", when that happens in comes artisanal salts.
Nice large crystals and more importantly the salt tastes different than the stuff in your shaker from Mortons. Less salty than you think and more like the sea than a salt lick.
This small jar is a good experiment, give yourself and your family a little trial and see if you notice it when put on as a finishing salt. I bet you can tell and I bet that you come back for more, of this variety, and better yet hopefully many others. There is a whole world of salts out there. Don't limit yourself to the one that goes just as well on your icy sidewalk, your ice cream machine, your pasta water and your parent's picnic basket.
I waited a long time for this.Dec 28, 2012
