I loved it but it broke, my was 16.99Feb 24, 2010 The bottom fall of, do not know why.
I had it 4 years and I loved it.
It was working excellent until today,
So here I am trying to find it and amazed with the price,
I bought my in TJ Maxx for 16.99, should have bought 2 :)
I guess I will just try to to fix it with super glue :)

Does not take inserts!Dec 25, 2009 Although Amazon recommends buying this spice grinder with the six additional inserts, it DOES NOT take them. You need model number 2350 (Kuhn Rikon Vase *Spice* Grinder) if you want to use the inserts with them. This is really one of those cases where Amazon's "Frequently Bought Together" suggestion is broken, and the descriptions of both grinders are woefully inadequate to compensate.
It doesn't help that, on Wish Lists, this is listed as their "Seasoning" grinder, but on the product page itself, it's listed as a "Spice" grinder. Kuhn Rikon's website makes it clear that they are two different products, but Amazon does not.
Does What it is designed to doOct 03, 2009 Used this at a restaurant in Grand Cayman and liked its looks and the fact it did a good job of what it was designed to do ... grind salt and pepper.

If you like pepperJan 15, 2009 This is the grinder for you. After looking for a replacement pepper mill for over 2 years, I came upon the Kuhn Rikon, and the search was over.
Big capacity, great output. Had mine over a year, and still pumping out the pepper. Get this one.

A good grinderSep 05, 2008 We have 5 of these. My wife likes them because they are easy and dependable. They don't leave salt or pepper on the table (most important). You can easily see whether it's salt or pepper. Fresh ground salt, "Sal Du Mare" "gross" (French for "course") is much better (and saltier) than the stuff with the little girl on it. And a good black pepper is always better fresh ground. Be careful not to loose the spring if you adjust the grind. It has a tendency to pop out.
