Attractive, sturdy.... but also made by a different companyAug 08, 2011
By Shopsalot I saw these wine glasses featured in Real Simple, by Le Cadeaux, and thought they were beautiful and fun for the yard. By some happy accident, I was grocery shopping in Stop and Shop in my town and there were the wine glasses, water glasses, and pitchers in several colors.... for much, much less. They were priced at 2/$5, but summer "wares" were on sale and I purchased five wine and five water in the yellow for $1.80 each and the pitcher for $4.00. I would like to buy three more of each type of glass as well as another pitcher, but I can't justify $6-$7 a glass when I know how much I've paid for the rest. I searched high and low at multiple stores for more glasses, but I guess everyone else saw them in Real Simple as well, because there was no trace of them anywhere within a few days.
They are worth $1.80 - they're even worth $2.50. But any more than that and you may as well buy durable, recyclable, environmentally responsible glass!

We are switching to plastic because we live in a small apartment and keep accidentally breaking our glasses & we have a 6 month old. Well, these are so much cooler than any glass I've ever had! The company that sells them has great customer service too.
